How much does it cost?
BlogApper offers two types of service: Fully Managed plan and Pay Once option.
Fully Managed service plan costs $25/month (recurring) – this service is all-inclusive, meaning that you will get everything that BlogApper has to offer now and in the future. Want to change your app design? Update as many times as you wish, there’s no extra charge for that. Know how much to charge for your banner ads by viewing your download stats. You get it all with this plan.
Pay Once option costs $179 – build your app once and pay once. There are no recurring fees with this plan. Future app updates are $69/compilation. Download stats $8/month for monthly stats; $15/month for weekly stats.
What type of service does BlogApper provide?
BlogApper lets you build an app for your blog. Our online building tool makes it easy to customize it according to your preferences.
Once your app is ready, we will code, test and submit it to iTunes. You do not need to have an Apple Developer Account.
How long does it take to get my app on iTunes?
After you customize the app, it takes up 5-7 business days to code, test and prepare it for submission to iTunes. Once your app has been submitted, it takes Apple 3-4 weeks to review and approve it
Will I get a refund if my app is not approved by Apple?
Yes. you will receive a full refund if your app does not get approved by Apple.
How much does it cost to update my app once it has been published?
There is no charge for updating your app if you are subscribing to our Fully Managed services (Plan 1).
If you select the One-time payment option (Plan 2), there is a fee of $69 per compilation.
Will I need to update app content manually?
No. The app pulls content from your blog’s RSS feed. It will display your RSS feed’s most recent content.
My blog can be easily accessed using the iPhone browser, why would I need an app?
Having your own app exposes your brand/blog to tens or hundreds of thousands iPhone/iPod Touch users who otherwise would not necessarily find your blog.
Since our apps are native to the iPhone, not web-based, your current blog visitors will be able to download your most recent posts and read them later, whether they are online or offline.
Why should I pick BlogApper?
Unlike other app-building services, BlogApper deals only with blogs. We know how difficult it is to promote a blog and spread your message. You can rest assured that any features and services that we will be adding, will focus specifically on helping blogs promote their brand and generate extra revenue from private and third-party advertising.
Will I be able to sell my app on iTunes?
Currently we only offer free apps on iTunes. Making your app free to download will expose your brand/blog to a much larger audience.
How can I make money with my app?
We will be happy to add Advertising Module to your app, allowing you to earn money from banner ads. In order to do this, you will need to create an account at your preferred mobile network, such as AdMob, and contact us then. We are also currently working on a Private Ads solution, that will let you sell banners on your blog for placement on your iPhone app.
Is BlogApper any cheaper than hiring an iPhone developer to create an app from scratch?
Hiring your own iPhone developer is certainly an option, if you have the budget. Keep in mind that a custom app, similar to the ones BlogApper offers, will cost thousands of dollars to develop. Once it’s developed, you may be required to pay an annual fee of $99 (Apple Developer account) just to keep your app on iTunes.
Are there any contracts to sign?
No. There are no contracts. You may cancel at any time.
